When people think of Las Vegas, they think of bright lights, high rollers, the sound of slot machines, and fancy shows. Believe it or not, there is more to this city than meets the eye. For instance, did you know that there is an art scene in Vegas? It’s small, but it exists — and there are a lot of inspiring and self-publishing comic book artists in Vegas. In fact, thanks to one of Vegas’ indie comic creators/publishers, I will forever be immortalized on Comic Vine as being an artist who worked on a for-real published comic. That publisher is Pj Perez of Pop! Goes the Icon, who is also spearheading the Tales from Lost Vegas project, which you can now back via Kickstarter.
