This week, I discuss with Rochelle Melander the various ways that Mischief and Mayhem can be used by teachers, librarians, and parents to teach kids.
Within the pages of the book, there are many teachable moments that we can pull from that are great conversation starters about friendship, perseverance, empathy, diversity, and several other topics.
While my primary driving force during the creation of Mischief and Mayhem is the fun factor, I also realize how important it is that the characters are relatable and that readers can understand their lives on a deeper level.
So please check out the interview and let me know what you think.
